What this Sky Clock helps you do

Sky Clock keeps the useful timing decisions on one page, so you can check the next event, plan a route and return to the game without doing timezone math.

See the next wax event immediately

The live Sky Clock surfaces whichever event is active or coming next, then keeps Grandma, Geyser, Turtle and Daily Reset visible in the same schedule.

Read every event in your local time

Event rules stay anchored to Pacific Sky time while the page converts starts and countdowns to the timezone reported by your browser, including daylight-saving changes.

Turn on optional browser reminders

Use the bell beside an event to choose a reminder. The setting stays on this device, and the page explains when the browser tab must remain open.

Plan a two-hour candle route

Compare Geyser at :05, Grandma at :35 and Turtle at :50 before you fly. The shared cycle makes it easier to decide where to travel next.

How to use Sky Clock before you fly

A short check is usually enough. These four steps turn the event timer into a practical route planner without asking you to create an account.

  1. 1

Check the next event and daily reset

Start with the large countdown. It tells you what is happening now, what begins next and when the current Sky day changes in your own time.

  2. 2

    Compare the full wax cycle

Look at all three wax events before choosing a realm. If one event has just ended, the cycle shows whether Grandma or Turtle still fits your route.

  3. 3

Choose only the reminders you need

Tap a bell for the events you care about and select the lead time. Send a test notification once so you know the browser and system settings are ready.

  4. 4

    Leave enough travel time

Use the event location and local start time together. Arrive a few minutes early when the route includes Sanctuary Islands, Elevated Clearing or another area away from a portal.

Community-checked improvements

Help improve the Sky Clock

If an event looks wrong after a game update, a reminder does not arrive, or a label is unclear in your language, send the details so the tool can be corrected.

Compare notes with other Sky players

Use the Clock or language channels to ask about an event, share a current observation and help separate a local browser issue from a schedule change.

Questions players ask

Short answers, without making you convert another time zone.

What time zone does Sky Clock use?

The schedule is anchored to America/Los_Angeles, often called Sky Mean Time, then converted to the timezone reported by your browser.

How often do Grandma, Geyser and Turtle repeat?

The three wax events repeat every two hours. Geyser starts at :05, Grandma at :35 and Turtle at :50 in the matching Sky hour.

Does daylight saving time change my local event time?

It can. Because the schedule is anchored to Pacific Time, your local display updates automatically when either timezone changes daylight-saving offset.

Do I need to keep the page open?

For scheduled browser reminders, keep Sky Clock open in a tab. The tab can stay in the background, but closing the browser stops this backend-free scheduler. Your event choices remain saved on the device.

Is this Sky Clock official?

No. SkyCOTL.tools is a free fan-made utility and is not affiliated with thatgamecompany. Event rules can change after game updates, so current in-game signs remain the final reference.

Can I bookmark Sky Clock or add it to my Home Screen?

Yes. Use Command + D on Mac or Ctrl + D on Windows, Linux and ChromeOS. On a phone, use the browser's Share or menu action to add the page as a bookmark or Home Screen shortcut.

Why does Sky Clock show a different hour for my friend?

Sky Clock converts the same Pacific-time event to each browser's local timezone. Friends in different countries can see different clock times while still joining the same event.

Does Sky Clock show today's red or black shard?

This page focuses on repeating wax events and Daily Reset. Use the Sky Shards page for today's predicted shard type, realm, location, reward and eruption windows.
